Agree on the boundaries before connecting the records.

  • Use the systems already in place

ERP, MES, QMS, historians and inspection systems remain the sources; the scope defines which connections the question needs.

  • Define who can access what

Agree on roles, authentication and approved connectivity. Storage location and authorized access are separate questions; both need a clear answer.

  • Make handling requirements explicit

Encryption, logging, retention, deletion and any approved subcontractor access are agreed in the engagement design.

  • Keep production decisions with the plant

Engineers validate causes and corrective actions. Nothing writes back to a machine.

Production and quality data can remain inside the customer's approved on-premise, German/EU cloud or existing Azure environment. Datansh does not require production datasets to be relocated to India.

Discuss requirements with the right evidence.

Requirements should be reviewed against the actual engagement, scope and supporting records. A framework name is not a substitute for that review.

  • TISAX

Where automotive information-security assessment requirements apply, confirm assessment scope, status and information-sharing arrangements before access is approved.
  • GDPR

Where records include personal data, agree on permitted purpose, access and handling. Use aggregated operating context where individual detail is not needed.
  • ISO 27001

Information-security requirements relevant to the work: access, handling, logging and incident responsibilities.
  • ISO 9001

Quality-management requirements relevant to delivery, acceptance and change control.

Certificate details on request.

What we will work through with your IT team

  • Storage and deployment

Where the work runs, where records are held and which services are approved.

  • Access and connectivity

Who can access the information, how access is granted and removed, and which connections are permitted.

  • Security and audit records

Encryption, activity logging, incident responsibilities and the evidence needed for your review.

  • Personal and sensitive information

Whether operator, supplier, customer or other restricted information is needed, and how its use is limited.

  • Retention and deletion

What is retained during the work, what is removed afterward and how those actions are confirmed.

  • Ownership and handover

Data rights, deliverables, pre-existing tools, third-party licenses, model ownership and handover terms are stated in the agreement.

Evidence people can review. Decisions people control.

A finding should show its records and assumptions. A workflow should show who is responsible. Authorized people validate any process action.

Connect the context, not replace the stack.

    Connected quality context

Link the relevant part, lot, time, material and process information for the agreed use case.

    Analysis and response

Support investigations, test useful warnings and route agreed workflow actions.

Useful information for a first technical review

Start with what is relevant and available. A discussion guide, not a requirement before contacting us.

  • The quality question and the KPI you want to improve

  • Where quality outcomes and defect classifications are recorded

  • How a part, lot or production period is identified

  • Which inspection, test or process records can be linked to it

  • Any known timestamp, label or traceability gaps

  • Relevant material, tooling and maintenance context

  • The person who can validate the process interpretation

  • The approved route for access and security review

Historical exports may be enough for a first investigation or test. More advanced approaches need evidence detailed and consistent enough for the decision they support.

Questions from technical teams

Where does our production data go?

Production and quality data can remain inside the customer's approved on-premise, German/EU cloud or existing Azure environment. Datansh does not require production datasets to be relocated to India.

Storage, processing and authorized-access arrangements are agreed before data is connected.

Will automation change machine settings?

No: nothing writes back to a machine. Automation can route findings, create approved tasks and record responses; process settings and quality-release decisions stay under the plant's authorized controls.

How is operator or shift information handled?

We agree on the context the quality question needs. Individual information is used only where appropriate and permitted; aggregated context serves when individual detail is unnecessary.

Who owns the deliverables?

Ownership and usage rights are agreed in the contract: project outputs, models, pre-existing tools and third-party components. They should be clear before work begins.

Can we review your security and quality documentation?

Yes, ask for the records relevant to your vendor review. Certificate details on request.

Bring your quality priority and your constraints.

We will discuss the operational question and the requirements your IT team needs to see addressed.
